Aromages are a newly released archetype from Clash Of Rebellions that focus on gaining massive card advantage through card effects triggered by the player gaining Life Points. The Aromages are only comprised of four monsters, one Field Spell, and two Trap cards. While they are definitely not tier one worthy, they definitely have the potential to become a strong force with the release of future support.

Currently, all of their monsters are mediocre besides Aromage - Jasmine. Jasmine gives you an additional Normal Summon should your Life Points be higher than your opponent's and lets you draw an additional card during either player's turn when you gain Life Points (something this Deck does often). Their Field Spell is unfortunately underwhelming, however it does play a role in instantly allowing you to gain Life Points and trigger your Aromage effects.

While the majority of their support is sub par, their Trap cards are anything but. Dried Winds will destroy a face up monster your opponent controls whenever you gain Life Points will allow you to greatly interrupt your opponent. Humid Winds allows you to search an Aromage monster to your hand during either players turn by paying 1000 Life Points and allows you to gain 500 Life Points during either player's turn as well. Humid and Dried Winds in combination can result in a plus 2 in card advantage during either player's turn indefinitely.

Another reason to play this deck is because of its ability to play Ferret Flames, an absurdly broken card that shuffles monsters your opponent controls back into their Deck so that the total ATK of all monsters they control is less or equal to your Life Points. Aromages are easily able to lower and control their Life Points to levels where Ferret Flames will always be live.

Check out an amazingly halarious Aromage duel illustrating this here.

While Aromages may not be able to compete on their own, they can pose a threat to opponents when paired with other support. Check out my sample Deck List to see what I'm talking about.
