Beginner's Guide To Majespecter
Majespecter are an amazingly powerful archetype of WIND Spellcaster Pendulum monsters that when summoned search Majespecter Spell, Traps, or monster cards from the Deck to the hand. These effects work even when Pendulum Summoned from the Extra Deck, and as such, a full field Pendulum from the Extra Deck can give the Majespecter player as much as a plus 9 in terms of card advantage.
The deck reminds me a lot of old school Gadgets that gain advantage through their monsters and deal with the opponents cards with their Spell and Trap cards. Except, instead of searching weak Gadget cards, Majespecter search insanely powerful Spell, Traps, and monsters to the hand. Let's start by taking a look at what Spells and Traps Majespecters can add to their hand first.
While Tributing 1 Majespecter card for its activation may seem like a downside, it is actually very beneficial as it allows
your Majespecter monsters to go back to the Extra Deck in order to be summoned again during your next turn. As you
will see later in the monster section, you will want to be Special Summoning these Majespecter monsters from your
Extra Deck every turn.

Majespecter Spells and Traps
Majespecter Cyclone
Tribute 1 WIND Spellcaster-Type monster, then target 1 monster your opponent controls; destroy it.
Majestic Pegasus
All "Majespecter" monsters gain 300 ATK and DEF. You can Tribute 1 WIND Spellcaster-Type monster; Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Majiespecter" monster from you Deck. You can only use this effect of "Majestic Pegasus" once per turn.
Majespecter Tornado
Tribute 1 WIND Spellcaster-Type monster, then target 1 monster your opponent controls; banish it.
A great card that acts as a Majespecter Cyclone that banishes. It works great for clearing threats already on the board,
which Tempest can't do unless the monster activates its effect.
Majespecter Monsters
Each Majespecter monster has an effect says it cannot be targeted by, or destroyed by, opponent's card effects. This
effectively means that your opponent must attack over it, which nearly gaurantees that the monster will go back to the
Extra Deck. Majespecter monsters want to go back to the Extra Deck (even moreso than other Pendulum decks)
because when Special Summoned, Majespecters have a variety of effects that let them add Majespecter monsters,
Traps, or Spells to the player's hand.
Majespecter Raccoon
Effect Level 3 WIND Spellcaster
ATK:1200
DEF: 900
Pendulum Scale (5/5)
Monster Effect
(1) When this card is Normal or Special Summoned; You can add 1 "Majispecter" monster from your Deck to your hand. You can only use this effect of "Majispecter Racoon" once per turn.
(2) Cannot be targeted by, or destroyed by, an opponent's card effects.

One of the best support cards this deck could ask for. Majestic Pegasus sets up your Extra Deck for the following turn
while triggering the effects of another Majespecter. The ATK increase is a nice bonus as well.
Majespecter Storm
Tribute 1 WIND Spellcaster-Type monster, then target 1 monster your opponent controls; shuffle it into the Deck.
Unfortunately, the fact that it is not a Quickplay Spell like Majespecter Cyclone makes the card relatively unplayable as
it can do nothing during your opponent's turn. As such, the card sees little to no competitive play.
Majespecter Tempest
When a monster(s) would be Special Summoned, or a monster effect is activated: Tribute 1 WIND Spellcaster-Type
monster; negate the Special Summonor activation, and if you do, destroy that card.
Tempest is a little bit too good and essentially has the capability of stopping your opponent from playing Yugioh. It acts as a both a Breakthrough Skill and a Solemn Warning, while sending a Majespecter back to the Extra Deck so that its effect can activate again the following turn.
Raccoon searches any of your Majespecter monsters and is great for searching the other Pendulum monster you
need to place in your Pendulum Zone. You always want to see Raccoon as soon as possible in this deck.
Majespecter Crow
Effect Level 4 WIND Spellcaster
ATK:1000
DEF: 1500
Pendulum Scale (5/5)
Monster Effect
(1) When this card is Normal or Special Summoned; You can add 1 "Majispecter" Spell Card from your Deck to
your hand. You can only use thie effect of "Majispecter Crow" once per turn.
(2) Cannot be targeted by, or destroyed by, an opponent's card effects.
Crow can add any Spell Card from your Deck to your hand, which will be Majespecter Cyclone.
Majespecter Fox
Effect Level 4 WIND Spellcaster
ATK:1500
DEF: 1000
Pendulum Scale (2/2)
Monster Effect
(1) When this card is Normal or Special Summoned; You can add 1 "Majispecter" Trap Card from your Deck to
your hand. You can only use thie effect of "Majispecter Fox" once per turn.
(2) Cannot be targeted by, or destroyed by, an opponent's card effects.
Fox can add any Trap Card from your Deck to your hand, which will be either Majespecter Tornado or
Majespecter Tempest.
Majespecter Cat
Effect Level 3 WIND Spellcaster
ATK:100
DEF: 1800
Pendulum Scale (2/2)
Monster Effect
(1) When this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can activate this effect; during this turn's End Phase,
add 1 "Majispecter" Card from your Deck to your hand. You can only use thie effect of "Majispecter Cat" once
per turn.
(2) Cannot be targeted by, or destroyed by, an opponent's card effects.
Cat is both great when you need to get the ball rolling and even after your Extra Deck is loaded up. Cat most
often uses her effect to search for a Pendulum monster, which will most likely be Majespecter Raccoon.
Majespecter Unicorn
Effect Level 5 WIND Spellcaster
ATK:2000
DEF: 2000
Pendulum Scale (2/2)
Monster Effect
(1) During either player's turn: You can target 1 Pendulum Monster you control and 1 monster your opponent
controls; return them to the hand. You can only use this effect of "Majispecter Unicorn" once per turn.
(2) Cannot be targeted by, or destroyed by, an opponent's card effects.
Unicorn's Compulsory Evacuation Device like effect is extremely powerful when backed up with a Majespecter
Spell or Trap and can lock your opponent out of any possible way of making a comeback.
Other Cards To Consider
Luster Pendulum, The Dracoslayer
Effect Level 4 LIGHT Dragon Tuner
ATK:1850
DEF: 0
Pendulum Scale (5/5)
(1) Once per turn, if you have a card in your other Pendulum Zone: You can destroy that card, and if you do,
add 1 card with the same name from your Deck to your hand.
Monster Effect
(1) Cannot be used as a Fusion, Synchro, or Exceed Material for a Summon, except for the Summon of a
"Dragoknight" monster.
You always want to draw iinto Luster Pendulum. Not only is his scaling great, but his Pendulum effect is even
better. Luster Pendulum plus any other Scale 2 Majespecter monster means you already have at least one
Extra Deck Majespecter monster ready to activate its effect, giving you at minimum a plus 2 in terms of card advantage.
Archfiend Eccentrick
Effect Level 3 LIGHT Fiend
ATK:800
DEF: 1000
Pendulum Scale (7/7)
(1) You can target 1 other Spell/ Trap Card on the field; destroy both this card and that target. You can only
use this effect of "Archfiend Eccentrick" once per turn.
Monster Effect
(1) You can Tribute this card, then target 1 monster on the field; destroy it. You can only use this effect of
"Archfiend Eccentrick" once per turn.
Archfiend Eccentrick is another card you always want to see. Assuming you Pendulum Summon it the same
turn, it can get rid of two problem cards on your opponent's side of the field. It also has a great Scale,
meaning you can even use it to facilitate a Pendulum Summon before activating its effect to destroy a Spell
or Trap.
Extra Deck
Besides cards like Ignister Prominence, The Blasting Dracoslayer and Totem Bird, Majespecters utilize a
standard Rank 4 Extra Deck.
Tips And Plays
Majespecters are a fairly linear archetype where the pilot simply needs to search Majespecter cards to the
hand and Pendulum Summon to gain massive card advantage.
Remember that you can only activate the effect of each Majespecter monster once per turn. So if you open
up with two of the same Majespecter card, you should place one of them in the Pendulum Zone when
making a Pendulum play.
When making a Pendulum play, be careful for cards that may negate your Pendulum Summon like Solemn
Warning or an opposing Majespecter Tempest, as they will cause your Pendulum Monsters to go to the
Graveyard instead of back to the Extra Deck. If reasonably doable, try to make it so that even if they
negate your Pendulum Summon, you still have enough monsters for a follow up.
