Atlantean Decklists
Standard Atlantean
Atlanteans are an older archetype that used to be played as supplementary cards for the popular Mermail deck back in late 2012 and 2013. It wasn't until the release of Neptabyss The Atlantean Prince that they became revelant on their own.
As such, the deck focuses on abusing the effects of Neptabyss to search any Atlantean card, build massive advantage over the opponent, and proceed to attack for lethal damage. The most successful way of piloting Atlanteans is geared towards swiftly killing your opponent by destroying their field with the Atlanteans, and then destroying their Life Points with Abyssmegalo. It's not rare to find the duel over by the Atlantean player's first or second Battle Phase.
As Atlanteans are made to one turn kill, this decklist focuses on giving you the largest chance of opening the main combo pieces as well as making sure that the kill happens without any hindrance.The decklist is fairly standard, with every key card played at its maximum amount. Maxx "C" is played at three to help draw into your combo pieces while being decent against the OCG meta. Triple Mystical Space Typhoon is included to ensure that your plays aren't stopped by your opponent's Traps. Abyss-Scale Of The Cetus is played over Mizuchi as this deck focuses on OTKing your opponent, and generally you worry more about your opponent's Traps than Spells during your turn.
