Toons are an extremely old archetype that have been around since the beginning of Yugioh. Recently, they have recieved support that can allow them to hold their own against some of the more competitive decks. While they're definitely not tier one material, they can steal some wins against unprepared opponents.
Toons revolve around Toon Kingdom, a card that protects your Toon monsters from destruction or being targetted. While there are many Toon monsters, Toon Gemini Elf and Toon Masked Sorcerer are the two that have the most competitive potential for being able to discard cards from your opponent's hand and allow you to draw into your Deck. The most competitively viable Toon decks focus on these two monsters while using their Spell and Trap cards to control the opponent.
